From its beginnings to present day... and potential future, the story of the Nathaniel Witherell Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is told by four of its top leaders... David Ormsby, Chris Thurlow, Lynn Bausch and Susan Welsh. They paint the picture of how the only town-owned and operated nursing home in the State of Connecticut runs today with its dedicated staff, the many volunteers, its important programs for residents including the rehabilitation center, and support of the town. There's also a page on the facility's potential future with a 37-million-dollar renovation proposal and the current operation from a financial perspective.
