Greenwich Community Television Now on FiOS, iPhone, Android

Channel 79 isn't only channel 79 any more.

Greenwich Community Television, our local government access channel, has expanded it's broadcast reach to a second video provider. Verizon FiOS video service now carries GCTV programs on Verizon FiOS channel 24 as well as Cablevision channel 79.

GCTV has also changed its live streaming to a no cost, advertisement supported streaming service. The service, UStream, (http://www.ustream.tv) provides GCTV with the ability to have programming available to all computers and web browsers, as well as video capable Apple and Android smart phones.

Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch users should download the Ustream (by Ustream.tv, Inc.) app from the App Store. The Ustream app is an iPhone app, however it works well on an iPad or iPod Touch as well.

Android users can download the Ustream app from the Android market. As this time, GCTV recommends using the Ustream app, not the Beta Ustream Viewer app.
